The Edison Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Buchanan Bears to 49 in the Tigers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clovis West for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Edison will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 65-23 non-league win over Tulare Western (Tulare, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-0.

The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Atwater was nudged by Clovis North (Fresno, CA), 52-31, in a non-league contest.
