Illinois High School Basketball - Homewood-Flossmoor tops Simeon
December 13, 2023: Chicago, IL 60620 Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Simeon Wolverines (Chicago, IL), 47-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Homewood-Flossmoor upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Thornton (Harvey, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Wolverines play the Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Simeon will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 42-34 non-league win over Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL).
