December 13, 2023: Greensburg, PA 15601 Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers (Berlin, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA), 50-47 in a non-league test.
The Mountaineers (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Meyersdale (Meyersdale, PA). The Red Raiders go into the Inter County - West test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Meyersdale was tipped by Windber (Windber, PA), 59-19, in a league test.
The Centurions now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Ellis for a WPIAL 2A 3 test on Thursday, December 14. Greensburg Central Catholic will encounter a squad coming off a 41-26 non-league loss to Obama Academy of International Studies (Pittsburgh, PA). The record now stands at 3-3.
