Virginia High School Basketball - Potomac Senior tops North Stafford

December 13, 2023: Stafford, VA 22554

Potomac Senior Panthers (Dumfries, VA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host North Stafford Wolverines (Stafford, VA), 40-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Potomac Senior upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Freedom (Woodbridge, VA) to play the Eagles in a Cardinal bout on Friday, December 15. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Freedom lost 68-26 in their recent non-league bout against Thomas Dale (Chester, VA)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) in a Commonwealth bout, on Tuesday, December 19. North Stafford will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 57-24 league win over Mountain View (Stafford, VA).
