California High School Basketball - Deer Valley knocked off by Concord
December 13, 2023: Antioch, CA 94531 The Concord Minutemen basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Deer Valley Wolverines to 36 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Minutemen now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pittsburg for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Concord will battle a Pirates team coming off a 47-39 non-league win over Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 8-1.
The Wolverines (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond (Richmond, CA). The Oilers enter the contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Richmond ran past San Rafael (San Rafael, CA), 28-17, in a non-league contest.
