Georgia High School Basketball - Hapeville Charter topped by Alcovy
December 13, 2023: Covington, GA 30014 The Alcovy Tigers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Hapeville Charter Hornets to 33 in the Tigers league victory on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage for a contest on Saturday, December 16. Alcovy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 50-34 league loss to Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
The Hornets (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, South Gwinnett prevailed over Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA), 47-27, in a non-league contest.
