December 13, 2024: Alice, TX 78332 Brazoswood Buccaneers (Clute, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX), 74-58 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Brazoswood advances its record to 8-6 on the year. The Buccaneers travel to Jones (Beeville, TX) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 5-7. Jones won 47-30 in their recent non-league match against Zapata (Zapata, TX)
The Coyotes now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flour Bluff for a 5A Region IV District 29 match on Tuesday, December 17. Alice will face a Hornets squad coming off a 44-29 non-league win over London (Corpus Christi, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 9-10.
