December 13, 2024: Angleton, TX 77515 Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX), 68-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Brenham advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Cubs travel to Montgomery (Montgomery, TX) to face the Bears in a 5A Region III District 17 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Bears enter the match with a record of 12-3. Montgomery won 67-35 in their recent non-league match against Porter (Porter, TX)
The Wildcats now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hitchcock for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Angleton will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-36 non-league win over Center (Center, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-5.
