The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) and the visiting Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA), observed Mt. Shasta's basketball team overwhelm Biggs by a score of 67-31.

The Bears (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Weed (Weed, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Weed trounced Durham (Durham, CA), 49-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolverines encounter the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 26. Biggs will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 49-47 non-league loss to Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA).
