In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Vidor Pirates basketball team scored a good 53-44 triumph over the Bryan Vikings.

The Pirates (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Legacy School of Sport Sciences (Spring, TX). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Legacy School of Sport Sciences topped St. John's (Houston, TX), 96-61, in a non-league contest.
