December 13, 2024: Carbondale, IL 62901 The Carbondale Terriers basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Jones Fightin' Tigers to 37 in the Terriers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Terriers now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Craigmont for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Carbondale will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 75-59 non-league loss to Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Jones falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Fightin' tigers travel to Cahokia (Cahokia, IL) to confront the Comanches in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14.
