December 13, 2024: Chaparral, NM 88081 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM), observed Eldorado's basketball team overwhelm Chaparral by a score of 78-44.
The Golden Eagles (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gadsden (Anthony, NM). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Gadsden was routed by Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 68-27, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lobos battle the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Chaparral will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 68-47 non-league win over Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).
