Illinois High School Basketball - West Oaks Academy nips Chi-Prep Academy
December 13, 2024: Chicago, IL 60654 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting West Oaks Academy Flame basketball team scored a close 68-61 triumph over the Chi-Prep Academy Freeze.
The Flame (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Minnesota Preparation Academy, TRIP (Brooklyn Park, MN). The Diplomat Lions go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Minnesota Preparation Academy, TRIP was tipped by La Lumiere (La Porte, IN), 71-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Freeze battle the Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Chi-Prep Academy will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Hurricane go into the contest with a 7-0 record after their 72-43 non-league win over West Memphis (West Memphis, AR).
