December 13, 2024: Pontiac, MI 48340 The Churchill Chargers (Livonia, MI) basketball were winner over the host Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI), 55-47 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Belleville for a Kensington Lakes bout on Thursday, December 19. Churchill will play a Tigers team coming off a 47-45 non-league win over North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Pontiac falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Berkley (Berkley, MI) to play the Bears in a Oakland - Blue bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Berkley lost 57-55 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin (Livonia, MI)
