Mississippi High School Basketball - Columbus triumphant over Noxubee County
December 13, 2024: Macon, MS 39341 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Columbus Falcons (Columbus, MS) and the host Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS), observed Columbus's basketball team overwhelm Noxubee County by a score of 69-37.
The Falcons (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Austin (Decatur, AL). The Black Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Austin was routed by James Clemens (Madison, AL), 74-68, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Noxubee County will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 64-52 league win over Enterprise (Enterprise, MS).
