Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Cypress Park Tigers (Cypress, TX), 54-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Cypress Falls upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Westlake (Austin, TX) to face the Chaparrals in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Chaparrals enter the match with a record of 9-4. Westlake won 69-62 in their recent non-league match against Shoemaker (Killeen, TX)

The Tigers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Langham Creek for a 6A Region II District 16 match on Tuesday, December 17. Cypress Park will face a Lobos squad coming off a 56-41 non-league loss to The Colony (The Colony, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 5-7.
