In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Ellison Eagles basketball team scored a big 97-45 triumph over the Taft Raiders.

The Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rockwall (Rockwall, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Rockwall smashed Kingwood (Kingwood, TX), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
