Virginia High School Basketball - Evergreen Christian knocks off Shining Star Sports Academy

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Evergreen Christian Eagles basketball team scored a good 81-61 win over the Shining Star Sports Academy Panthers.

The Eagles (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Veritas Collegiate Academy (Arlington, VA). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Veritas Collegiate Academy was topped by New Hope Academy National (Landover Hills, MD), 82-66, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the New Hope Academy National Tigers (Landover Hills, MD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Shining Star Sports Academy will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 78-48 league loss to Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD).
