Louisiana High School Basketball - Franklin Parish holds off Thibodaux
December 13, 2024: Thibodaux, LA 70301 The Franklin Parish Patriots basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Thibodaux Tigers to 46 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now have a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Ouachita Parish for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Franklin Parish will confront a Lions team coming off a 49-47 non-league loss to Wossman (Monroe, LA). The Lions record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Thibodaux falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Destrehan (Destrehan, LA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 4-5. Destrehan won 55-31 in their recent non-league game against Dutchtown (Geismar, LA)
