Maine High School Basketball - Lewiston nips Freeport
December 13, 2024: Lewiston, ME 04240 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lewiston Blue Devils basketball team scored a close 54-52 triumph over the Freeport Falcons.
The Blue Devils (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bangor (Bangor, ME). The Rams go into the AA North contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Bangor was tipped by Brewer (Brewer, ME), 55-31, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Freeport will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Capers go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 50-32 league loss to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME).
