Texas High School Basketball - Veribest holds off Hawley
December 13, 2024: Hawley, TX 79525 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Veribest Falcons basketball team scored a close 46-39 triumph over the Hawley Bearcats.
The Falcons (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Roscoe, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Highland nipped Loraine (Loraine, TX), 67-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bearcats confront the Clyde Bulldogs (Clyde, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Hawley will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 49-35 non-league loss to Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX).
