Highland Huskies (Ault, CO) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Merino Rams (Merino, CO), 64-28 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Highland advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Huskies host Haxtun (Haxtun, CO) to face the Fightin' Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Fightin' Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-1. Haxtun lost 68-49 in their recent non-league match against Perkins County (Grant, NE)

The Rams now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wiggins for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. Merino will face a Tigers squad coming off a 52-50 non-league loss to Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
