Kentucky High School Basketball - Whitley County knocks off Jackson County
December 13, 2024: Williamsburg, KY 40769 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Whitley County Colonels basketball team scored a good 75-59 win over the Jackson County Generals.
The Colonels (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marion County (Lebanon, KY). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Marion County dropped by Green County (Greensburg, KY), 66-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Generals battle the Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers (Oneida, KY) in a District 49 test, on Tuesday, December 17. Jackson County will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Mountaineers come into the test with a 3-3 record after their 68-54 non-league win over Owsley County (Booneville, KY).
