December 13, 2024: Hinesville, GA 31313 Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers (Savannah, GA), 68-44 in a league match.
With the victory, Liberty County upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Jenkins (Savannah, GA) to face the Warriors in a AAA Region 3 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 4-2. Jenkins lost 48-35 in their recent non-league match against Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA)
The Atomsmashers now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodville-Tompkins for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. Johnson will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 56-49 league loss to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-5.
