California High School Basketball - Newport Harbor overwhelms Jurupa Hills
December 13, 2024: Fontana, CA 92337 The Newport Harbor Sailors basketball team scored 77 points and limited the host Jurupa Hills Spartans to 46 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Sailors now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Marina for a Sunset game on Wednesday, December 18. Newport Harbor will play a Vikings team coming off a 57-42 non-league win over Palma (Salinas, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Jurupa Hills falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 5-5. Peninsula lost 54-29 in their recent non-league game against Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA)
