December 13, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70122 Kennedy Cougars (New Orleans, LA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Willow Lions (New Orleans, LA), 49-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Kennedy advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Cougars host McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA) to face the Roneagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Roneagles enter the match with a record of 10-2. McDonogh 35 won 49-44 in their recent non-league match against Newman (New Orleans, LA)
The Lions now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jesuit for a non-league match on Friday, December 20. Willow will face a Blue Jays squad coming off a 52-50 non-league loss to Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA). The Blue Jays record now stands at 10-1.
