California High School Basketball - Windward triumphant over Lawndale
December 13, 2024: Lawndale, CA 90260 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Windward Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Lawndale Cardinals (Lawndale, CA), observed Windward's basketball team overwhelm Lawndale by a score of 87-48.
The Wildcats (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Harvard-Westlake was routed by Timpview (Provo, UT), 61-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA) in a Ocean challenge, on Wednesday, December 18. Lawndale will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record.
