Illinois High School Basketball - Unity Christian bested by Lutheran
December 13, 2024: Decatur, IL 62526 Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Unity Christian Lions (Decatur, IL), 65-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lutheran advances its record to 2-5 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Athens (Athens, IL) to meet the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 3-0.
The Lions now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warrensburg-Latham for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Unity Christian will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 70-26 non-league win over Central A & M (Moweaqua, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-0.
