December 13, 2024: Savannah, GA 31405 The Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Southside Christian Patriots (Waycross, GA), 73-40 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Matadors now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Faith Baptist Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. Memorial Day will play a Crusaders team coming off a 64-62 league loss to Southside Christian (Waycross, GA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Southside Christian falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Faith Christian Academy (Yulee, FL) to play the Angels in a Southeastern Christian bout on Monday, December 16. The Angels go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Faith Christian Academy lost 59-45 in their recent league bout against Wayne Christian Academy (Jesup, GA)
