Kentucky High School Basketball - Western defeats Oldham County
December 13, 2024: Buckner, KY 40010 The Western Warriors (Louisville, KY) basketball were winner over the host Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY), 54-42 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Spencer County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 17. Western will play a Bears team coming off a 72-70 non-league loss to DeSales (Louisville, KY). The Bears record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Oldham County falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Colonels host Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY) to play the Bluebirds in a non-league bout on Monday, December 16. The Bluebirds go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Highlands won 85-45 in their recent league bout against Dayton (Dayton, KY)
