December 13, 2024: Dallas, TX 75217 The Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX) basketball crushed the host Samuell Spartans (Dallas, TX), 75-25 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Mansfield Summit for a 5A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, December 17. Seguin will play a Jaguars team coming off a 46-44 non-league win over Cypress Creek (Houston, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Samuell falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to play the Stallions in a 5A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, December 17. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 9-7. North Mesquite won 67-48 in their recent non-league bout against Corsicana (Corsicana, TX)
