December 13, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70119 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting Wright (New Orleans, LA), observed St. Augustine's basketball team overcome Wright by a score of 50-32.
The Purple Knights (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Destrehan (Destrehan, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Destrehan defeated Riverdale (Jefferson, LA), 68-43, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the battle the Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Wright will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 66-45 non-league win over Cohen (New Orleans, LA).
