In Friday's non-league contest, the host St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders basketball team scored a close 62-55 triumph over the University Prep Charter Gator.

The Marauders (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY). The Flames go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.

In their next game, the Gator confront the McQuaid Jesuit Knights (Rochester, NY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. University Prep Charter will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 64-51 non-league win over School of the Arts (Rochester, NY).
