In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Willow Lions basketball team scored a close 28-26 triumph over the Berwick Panthers.

The Lions (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bonnabel (Kenner, LA). The Bruins go into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Delcambre Panthers (Delcambre, LA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Berwick will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 0-7 record after their 32-20 non-league loss to Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA).
