Texas High School Basketball - Centerville holds off Hull-Daisetta
December 13, 2024: Daisetta, TX 77533 The Centerville Bulldogs basketball team scored 24 points and limited the host Hull-Daisetta Bobcats to 21 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Laneville for a 1A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, December 17. Centerville will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 59-25 league loss to Wells (Wells, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Hull-Daisetta falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Spurger (Spurger, TX) to confront the Pirates in a 1A Region IV District 28 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 3-6. Spurger lost 22-18 in their recent non-league game against Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX)
