In Friday's non-league battle, the host Columbus Cougars basketball squad scored a nice 46-38 victory over the Colstrip Colts.

With the victory, Columbus advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Shepherd (Shepherd, MT) to meet the Mustangs in a B District 4 battle on Friday, January 3. The Mustangs enter the battle with a record of 2-1.

The Colts now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sweet Grass County for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. Colstrip will meet a Sheepherders squad coming off a 54-43 non-league win over Glasgow (Glasgow, MT). The Sheepherders record now stands at 2-0.
