Idaho High School Basketball - Wallace toppled by Deary
December 13, 2024: Wallace, ID 83873 Deary Mustangs (Deary, ID) fans went home pleased Friday as they observed their basketball team knock off the host Wallace Miners (Wallace, ID), 38-27 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Genesee (Genesee, ID). The Bulldogs come into the 1A White Pine challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Genesee prevailed over Kendrick (Kendrick, ID), 58-46, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Miners encounter the Lakeside Knights (Plummer, ID) in a 2A Scenic Idaho challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Wallace will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 51-47 non-league win over Inchelium (Inchelium, WA).
