St. Scholastica Doves (Covington, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Frederick A. Douglass Bobcats (New Orleans, LA), 48-28 in a non-league match.

With the victory, St. Scholastica upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Doves travel to Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA) to face the Penguins in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Penguins enter the match with a record of 3-3. Academy of Our Lady lost 51-10 in their recent non-league match against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA)

The Bobcats now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Lafourche for a non-league match on Monday, December 16. Frederick A.
