December 13, 2024: Kapolei, HI 96707 Kapolei Hurricanes (Kapolei, HI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Waipahu Marauders (Waipahu, HI), 57-44 in a league match.
With the victory, Kapolei upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Hurricanes host Wai'anae (Wai'anae, HI) to face the Seariders in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. The Seariders enter the match with a record of 3-3. Wai'anae won 33-18 in their recent non-league match against 'Aiea ('Aiea, HI)
The Marauders now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pearl City for a Oahu I - West match on Wednesday, December 18. Waipahu will face a Chargers squad coming off a 35-25 league loss to Nanakuli (Waianae, HI). The Chargers record now stands at 1-8.
