Kansas High School Basketball - Turner overwhelms Northeast
December 13, 2024: Kansas City, KS 66106 The Turner Golden Bears basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Northeast Vikings to 23 in the Golden Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Bears now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Seaman for a United Kansas game on Tuesday, December 17. Turner will battle a Vikings team coming off a 80-33 league win over West (Topeka, KS). The Vikings record now stands at 3-0.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Excelsior Springs Tigers (Excelsior Springs, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Northeast will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 49-35 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Oak Grove, MO).
