December 13, 2024: Lyndon Center, VT 05850 Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT), 38-18 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Colchester advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lakers travel to Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 18. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hazen for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19.
