December 13, 2024: Chelsea, MI 48118 Alpena Wildcats (Alpena, MI) fans exited the stadium happy Friday as they observed their ice hockey squad achieve victory over the host Chelsea Bulldogs (Chelsea, MI), 3-0 in a non-league game.
With the win, Alpena improves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Powers Catholic (Flint, MI) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 5-0. Powers Catholic won 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI)
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Pioneer for a Michigan Metro game on Wednesday, December 18. Chelsea will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 8-4.
