The Maxwell Panthers basketball squad (Maxwell, CA), was nudged 60-55 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lower Lake Trojans (Lower Lake, CA)

With the victory, Lower Lake advances its record to 2-3 on the year. The Trojans host Fort Bragg (Fort Bragg, CA) to meet the Timberwolves in a battle on Tuesday, December 17. The Timberwolves enter the battle with a record of 5-3. Fort Bragg won 50-28 in their recent league battle against Upper Lake (Upper Lake, CA)

The Panthers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Williams for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. Maxwell will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 69-58 non-league loss to Live Oak (Live Oak, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-3.
