In Friday's non-league test, the Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV) basketball squad defeated the visiting Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV), by a final score of 57-49.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons (Las Vegas, NV) in a test, on Monday, January 6. Pahrump Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 4-2 record after their 55-52 league loss to Boulder City (Boulder City, NV).
