December 13, 2024: Montebello, CA 90640 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA) and the visiting Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA), saw Schurr's soccer squad knock off Mayfair by a count of 2-0.
The Spartans (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Bishop Amat tipped Edgewood (West Covina, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Monsoons battle the Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, December 17. Mayfair will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Silver Knights enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Granite Hills (Apple Valley, CA).
