December 13, 2025: Covington, VA 24426 The Rocktown Raptors basketball team (Harrisonburg, VA), was tipped 56-49 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA)
The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants enter the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Waynesboro was nudged by Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA), 65-35, in a non-league match.
The Raptors now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Albemarle for a non-league match on Friday, December 19. Rocktown will face a Warriors squad coming off a 70-45 league win over Orange County (Orange, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
