December 13, 2025: Carrollton, TX 75006 The Newman Smith Trojans bounced the visiting Arlington Colts basketball squad by a final score of 73-47 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 outing, on Friday, December 19. Newman Smith will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Wolverines come into the outing with a 10-7 record after their 90-82 non-league loss to Anna (Anna, TX).
The Colts (3-11) will now prepare for their game against South Hills (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions go into the non-league game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, South Hills was ripped by Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX), 59-41, in a non-league game.
