California High School Basketball - Nevada Union can't get by Atascadero
December 13, 2025: Atascadero, CA 93422 Atascadero Greyhounds (Atascadero, CA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 59-56 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Atascadero upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Greyhounds host Paso Robles (Paso Robles, CA) to face the Bearcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 2-6. Paso Robles won 48-45 in their recent non-league match against Torres (Madera, CA)
The Miners now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arroyo Grande for a non-league match on Saturday, December 13. Nevada Union will face a Eagles squad coming off a 70-51 non-league win over Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-3.
