Louisiana High School Basketball - Captain Shreve holds off Rayville
December 13, 2025: Rayville, LA 71269 The Captain Shreve Gators basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Rayville Hornets to 70 in the Gators non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Gators now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red River for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 13. Captain Shreve will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 98-77 non-league win over Simsboro (Simsboro, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.
The Hornets (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against General Trass (Lake Providence, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, General Trass was nipped by Bastrop (Bastrop, LA), 71-35, in a non-league outing.
