New Mexico High School Basketball - Carlsbad crushes Santa Teresa
December 13, 2025: Carlsbad, NM 88221 The Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM), 60-33 in Saturday's non-league test.
Next, the Cavemen/Cavegirls encounter the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 19. Carlsbad will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 3-1 record after their 45-30 non-league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
The Desert Warriors (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Hanks was crushed by El Paso (El Paso, TX), 61-55, in a non-league battle.
